In 2008, Adair M. Buckner and Janis Alexander Cross formed Buckner & Cross, P.C., a firm devoted to handling a wide variety of litigation, office practice, and related matters, on behalf of a diverse array of clients, from small to large. Ms. Buckner and Ms. Cross combine their unique backgrounds of solo, small and larger firm, and corporate in-house practice, representing clients from individuals to the area’s largest companies, to effectively serve their clients.

Adair Buckner has been licensed since 1976  and Janis Alexander Cross has been licensed since 1979, serving the legal needs of clients in the Amarillo and Texas Panhandle area. Adair Buckner has been certified by the State Bar of Texas Board of Legal Specialization in labor and employment law since 1996. Buckner & Cross can handle almost any type of legal matter in a competent, professional, and cost-effective manner. Our firm provides high quality legal services with individual attention, counsel, and advice for which smaller firms are known and appreciated. We are dedicated to providing these high quality services while maintaining close, personal contact with our clients.
